In the initial auditions held across 11 cities in India, 100 contestants were selected. Of these 40 cleared the first round of mega auditions and 18 made it to the finals. The 18 finalists, divided into three groups headed by a master, will now compete for the title.

RJ and actress Tarana and television actor Jay Bhanushali will host. However, the icing on the cake is Mithun Chakraborty, the grand master on the show.

Artiste director, fitness guru and film choreographer, Terence Lewis has choreographed for films like Lagaan and Jhankar Beats. He has his own dance academy called the Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company.

His `Terence ki Toli’ has Jai, Alisha, Shubho, Mayuresh, Kiran and Vrushali.

Geeta Kapoor assisted ace Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan and has been part of films like Fiza (2000), Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001), Saathiya (2002) and Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic (2008).

Her `Geeta ki Gang’ has Sunita, Siddesh, Paulson, Nonie, Jigar and Mandakini.

Remo D’Souza assisted Ahmed Khan in Rangeela. He got his due with the films Tum Bin and (2001) Kaante (2002).

His `Remo ke Rangeeley’ has Bhavana, Khushboo, Md Ghouse, Mangesh, Rakhee and Prince.

Mithun Chakraborty gained monumental popularity with his signature dance moves and earned the title of the Disco King. After judging a Bengali dance competition, Mithun Da is ready to set the stage on fire as the grand master of Dance India Dance on Zee TV.

With the hosts, popular RJ Tarana and television heartthrob Jay Bhnuahsali, this one will surely be a showstopper.
